Following a proposal from the Editorial Committee, the Society’s governing Committee has decided to publish occasional special issues, beginning in 2008 and appearing no more frequently than every second year. This is a supplement to the Bulletin and will be distributed to the membership free of charge. These special issues should provide an opportunity for the treatment of topics related to individual authors or themes relevant to the study of Switzerland in the eighteenth century. The anniversaries of events, publications or individuals can be included in such themes.

The first issue dealing with Albrecht von Haller has just been published by the Editorial Committee. Contents
