Son objectif est de compl\u00e9ter l\u2019histoire traditionnelle des id\u00e9es par l\u2019\u00e9tude de la r\u00e9ception acad\u00e9mique, de la transmission et des usages du droit naturel, en prenant en compte \u00e0 la fois les institutions ainsi que les contextes politiques et juridiques. La <a href=\"http:\/\/lumieres.unil.ch\/projets\/droit-naturel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">partie suisse de ce projet<\/a> se focalise actuellement sur l\u2019enseignement du droit naturel et du droit des gens dans les Acad\u00e9mies de Lausanne et de Gen\u00e8ve. Les principaux repr\u00e9sentants de l\u2019<em>\u00e9cole romande du droit naturel, <\/em>J. Barbeyrac, J.-J. Burlamaqui et E. de Vattel, ont fortement contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la diffusion du droit naturel et du droit des gens \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, particuli\u00e8rement dans les parties francophones de l\u2019Europe. Toutefois, durant le XVIII<sup>e<\/sup> et une bonne partie du XIX<sup>e <\/sup>si\u00e8cle, les sujets du droit naturel et du droit des gens sont\u00a0\u00e9galement enseign\u00e9s par de nombreux professeurs oubli\u00e9s, dont quelques uns jouent des r\u00f4les importants dans les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s savantes, dans la pratique juridique ou encore dans le domaine politique.
